Part 3: FISHING THE BALSA FLOAT IN RUNNING WATER
Laurie Hickman - who is also a highly successful salmon angler - maintains that the barbel provides him with better sport than the "king of the river". He proceeds to demonstrate this on a beautiful stretch of the River Severn, using a balsa float in fast running water. As he does so he discusses with Roy Marlow the techniques that make him so consistently successful with this method of fishing.

Part 4: FISHING STICK & WAGGLER FLOAT IN RUNNING WATER This fourth part takes us back to the River Severn, where John Middleton and Laurie Hickman find a quieter stretch of water to illustrate methods of successful fishing with stick and waggler floats. As with the other three parts in this series, a whole new dimension is added as we go underwater to see what happens when fish are coaxed on to the hook. Along with Roy Marlow, find out how these experienced anglers set about the business of landing big catches.
