The explosion of bass around Britain's coastline triggered this video, which shows the tackle you need, the bait to fish and the methods that catch bass. Directed by TV's John Wilson, you will be enthralled by the action as bass to 10lb smash into baits and lures. The action takes place out of Lymington abourd Roger Bayzand's Sundance and further west on the deck of Chris Caine's Tiger Lily out of Weymouth.

We show you how to catch fast-running bass on live launce, joey mackerel and lures. Clive Gammon captures the golden days of bassing in the surf and dinghy anglers Dave Lewis and Stuart Smalley push the boat out off the Suffolk and South Wales coast in their quest to catch the fish.
