For dolphins incarcerated in bare concrete pools around the world, the turquoise blue of the Caribbean must seem like a distant dream.
Yet, in 1991, three former captives of the oceanarium industry were flown out of Europe to the British West Indies.

This is the story of their flight to freedom, and their return to the wild. Christened 'Into the Blue', the rescue mission was co-ordinated by a coalition of international conservation organisations, including the Bellerive Foundation, the World Society for the Protection of Animals, Zoo Check, and British Divers Marine Life Rescue.
